Liberty Volleyball Finishes Ranked 20th in NJ

LIBERTY VOLLEYBALL FINISHES RANKED 20TH IN NJ

The Jackson Liberty varsity volleyball team finished their season with a 14-8 overall record and 7-5 conference record, earning them spots in both the Shore Conference and state tournament. Despite tough losses in the opening rounds of each tournament the team can hold their heads up high with this season’s accomplishments. They were the tournament champions of the 2015 New Dorp High School Digging for a Cure Volleyball Tournament in Staten Island, having finished undefeated for the day. They were ranked an impressive 20th in state.” We lost in the first round of both States and Shore Conference, but I promise you that next year the girls have everything it takes to be the cream of the crop,” said interim coach Amy Berry. “The girls are absolutely amazing – they play with their hearts and they have an energy that will captivate anyone that catches the slightest glimpse of them. I am incredibly proud to have been able to be part of this team this year, and I wish them the best of luck next season when Coach O’Neil returns to lead them once again.” It has been a distinct pleasure to have known each and every individual on the team, at both the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels.”
