Led by Tyler Busch’s second place finish, the Ridgerunners shot their best team score of the season in finishing seventh at the Edison Invitational at LaFortune Park in Tulsa Tuesday.
Busch finished with a round of 71, two shots behind tournament champion Alexander Hughes of Edison. The Ridgerunners shot 330 as a team, two shots ahead of Nowata.
Ketchum’s Trae Fairchild finished fourth with a round of 72.
Tulsa Washington won the team title, getting three golfers into the top-10.
Both Grove golf teams will be competing in the Verdigris Valley Conference Championship at Shangri-La on Wednesday, April 17.
