106 – The smallest weight class also had the fewest number of participants with only five wrestlers. Tonkawa’s Owen Simpson won the first of four individual titles for the Bucs with a 7-4 win over Brian Brown of Newkirk.
113 – Briar Stopp claimed the first of four titles for Newkirk. After getting a pair of pins to reach the finals, Stopp got a third period escape and held off Tonkawa’s Anthony Jauregui for a 1-0 decision.
126 – Josh Ailey won the first of three straight titles for Tonkawa with a 9-1 decision over Blake Avery of Perkins. Ailey beat Tyler Binns of Vinita 2-1 in the semifinals. Binns took third.
132 – Gage Martin of Tonkawa survived an 8-7 decision over Cleveland’s Jake Keppner in the semifinals then defeated Brett Cheary of Perkins 2-0 in the finals. Keppner finished third.
138 – Brandon Hurst won Tonkawa’s fourth and final title with a 3-2 win over Shawn Valencia of Pawhuska. Hurst also had a 9-3 win over Dallas Gorman of Inola and a 12-3 win in the semifinals over Grove’s Josh Perez.
145 – Brian Moran of Blackwell won the first of the Maroons’ two individual crowns with an 11-6 win over Vinita’s Brooks Bowzer. Vinita’s Jacob Collins, wrestling for the Mystery team, won third.
152 – After getting a 12-2 decision over Brandon Moody of Perkins in the first round, Newkirk’s Jacob Vap got three falls to win the title at 152, pinning Reece Simpson of Tonkawa in the third period in the finals.
160 – Vinita’s Brandon Street overcame a 9-5 deficit in the third period to defeat top seed Jesse Harlow of Blackwell 13-9 in the semifinals. Street pinned Zalen Edwards of Pawhuska in 1:00 in the championship bout.
170 – Pawnee’s Marlon Houston, Jr ended up wrestling for just 1:30 during the entire tournament. Houston received two byes before pinning Grove’s Anthony Krause in the semifinals. David Dowell of Newkirk then had to forfeit the championship bout against Houston after suffering an injury during his semifinal win.
182 – Grove’s Benny Steffenson needed little time in his semifinal win over Cole Martin of Oologah, using a big throw to pin Martin 35 seconds into the first period.
195 – This class only had six wrestlers but still had its share of dramatics in the semifinals. Newkirk’s Justice Jones won a 12-10 decision over Jake Barrett of Inola while Jody Green of Blackwell won a 3-1 decision over Skilar Miller of Vinita. Jones pinned Green in the second period in the finals.
220 – Vinita’s Kaleb Phillips had one of the more dominating days on his way to the title, pinning all three of his opponents, the last two in the second period.
285 – Tanner Allen of Blackwell ended Friday’s tournament in dramatic fashion. Nursing a 1-0 lead over Jr. Fonseca of Sperry, Allen turned Fonseca and got the pin with 17 seconds left in the match to claim the title.
