On December 9th the junior varsity basketball squad took their first at home lost against north tech high school. The final score was about 35 to 56. I got the chance to talk to starting guard Tavian Willis about how he thought the first game went. I ask Tavian if he had any first game jitters , he responded " Yeah I was kinda nervous it was the first game so I had to play well." I then asked what did he think the team main problem was. He responded " We could've used more defense and work more as a team" Overall he thought they played well for their first game and so did I. There's always a second chance.
